BEAHIVE
Inspired in part by the coworking and Localism movements, BEAHIVE is a a pioneering space for work and community and possibilities — the first and only of its kind in the Hudson Valley, one of only a handful in all of NY, and one of probably only a few hundred in the world when opened. BEAHIVE is a place where entrepreneurs, creatives and techies mix with nonprofit leaders, activists and community organizers. Founded by Scott Tillitt in 2009 in Beacon, NY, and expanding to other communities to create a small network of hives.

A nonprofit collaborative of locally owned independent businesses, artists, farmers, and nonprofits working to co-create a better Hudson Valley: vibrant, sustainable, locally rooted and human scale, with equal concern for people, planet, and prosperity. Co-founded in 2012 by Scott Tillitt, who served as the board chair for several years.
